Direct Cosmetics Haul & Review ♡ // MissBeautyEmily

Hey everyone ♡
I got to work with the lovely company called Direct Cosmetics who stock branded items for discounted prices! They are a UK based company with a website full of amazing beauty related items that are slashed in price. You can find brands such as Clinique, Maybelline, Hard Candy, Elizabeth Arden and so many more.

♡ Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream (30ml)
RRP: £21
Direct Cosmetics Price: £4.99
I have heard so much hype about Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream and so when I saw they sold this cream (and various other sizes of it) on their website I had to grab one! I picked my mum up a set for Christmas and she loves it so I knew it would be a great buy. Of course, I was not disappointed, I used this cream on my lips (VelvetGh0st a.k.a Gabriella Lindley had recommended doing this) and it left them feeling so soft and moisturised and even gave them a plumper look so that's a huge bonus. I'm not so keen on the scent as it's quite spicy and peppery but there's actual fragrance-free formulas available which I didn't know until after receiving it!

♡ Claudia Stevens Overnight Lip Plumper (13.5ml)
RRP: £12.99
Direct Cosmetics Price: £1.99
I couldn't believe the price reduction of this item so I had to try it and test it out for myself! The product is a liquid moisturising cream that you rub into your lips and leave on overnight. I found the scent very pleasant as it had a really nice sweet hint to it, almost like a sweet mint. The packaging is definitely an eye catcher, it looks like a high end product and the pink tube is very pretty! This item needs to be used constantly to see dramatic results but my lips did feel a lot more plumper in the morning and not dry at all, definitely a great moisturiser if the plumping effect doesn't work out for me!

♡ Bourjois Paris 3 Little Round Pots Eyeshadows (08, 54 & 74)
RRP: £20.97
Direct Cosmetics Price: £8.99
I'm a lover of Bourjois eyeshadows and always envy seeing them in my local Boots. I could never justify paying the price they ask so when seeing Direct Cosmetics had a trio pack with 3 gorgeous, wearable shades for only £8.99, I had to grab them! The pigmentation of these are absolutely amazing, one swipe and my finger swatched a deep colour of all 3. They blend perfectly and I created a very subtle smokey eye with these the other day!

♡ Max Factor Lipfinity Lasting Lip Tint (09 Passion Red)
RRP: £7.99
Direct Cosmetics Price: £1.65
Amazingly pigmented and superb staying power. that is all I have to say!
No.. seriously, I wasn't sure what to expect from this lip tint as I have had some before from different brands and they just ended up drying my lips out and not providing much colour. This one from Max Factor gave a gorgeous deep red shade on my lips and stayed on for ages with no transfer! Being a lip tint, they can be quite drying so I tend to pop on some moisturising cream on top so the colour doesn't crack or run on any fine lines, but this would be a great item if you're constantly having to reapply lipstick or gloss throughout the day.

♡ Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain (10 Darling Chérie)
RRP: £7.99
Direct Cosmetics Price: £1.99
Do you remember the hype of these Just Bitten Kissable Balms? Because I sure as hell do and I never actually purchased one back in the day. Maybe I secretly knew that I could get one for £1.99 in a few years time!! I chose the Darling Cherie shade as I love the purple pink look on my lips as it compliments my pale skin. When trying this balm, I was very surprised by how pigmented the product was, I definitely wasn't expecting so much colour and actually had to tone it down a bit by applying some of my Elizabeth Arden cream. The scent is very minty which isn't too much of a bother for me (If you didn't know, I'm not a lover of minty fragrances..) but when it's on the lips, you cannot taste/smell the scent so that is good!

♡ W7 In The Buff: Lightly Toasted Palette
RRP: £9.99
Direct Cosmetics Price: £5.99
When I saw this item online I had to grab it as I already own the 'In The Buff' Natural Nudes palette and absolutely love it. This palette is an amazing dupe for the Naked 1 from Urban Decay (At least by looking at the colours, I unfortunately don't own the UD palettes so can't compare fully). The eyeshadows are very pigmented and show up true to colour on the eyelid, there are tons of shades ranging from shimmers to mattes. I don't have much experience with W7 products but I know that these 2 palettes are so versatile and amazing quality for the price and I'm now tempted to pick up their other palettes, especially their dupe for the naked 3.

♡ My Opinion on Direct Cosmetics' Service
Overall, Direct Cosmetics are a lovely company to deal with and respond quickly and professionally to emails. Items are dispatched within days and I received my package 5 days later which is a normal expected time! You can also pay a bit extra to get it delivered within one day if you are in desperate need of your items!
Direct Cosmetics only deliver to the UK & Europe so if you are outside of here you cannot purchase from them at the moment.

All my items were in pristine condition and wrapped up in original packaging and there were no damages in transit. I would 100% buy from them again and I think my mum is eager to place an order on there after seeing the gorgeous items I got!
